M33 Access Officially Rebrands Following Sale to Point Broadband
ROSE CITY, MI (March7, 2023) – M33 Access, a locally owned and operated provider of fiber-based Internet services, today announced that it is being rebranded Point Broadband after the sale of its company to the Opelika-Ala.-based broadband company in late 2022.
M33 Access began with a mission to provide essential and reliable, high-speed internet in rural areas of northeast Michigan. Andrew Quigley, M33 General Manager, said the transaction with Point Broadband provides additional resources needed to better serve existing customers and expand their fiber network further into underserved areas in the region.
“M33 Access becoming a part of the Point Broadband team will allow our locally grown rural company to expand and bring high-speed fiber optic to more households, faster and more efficiently” Quigley said. “And we can do this without sacrificing the core values that we were built on. We are very excited for the future of this new relationship and what it means for the communities we live in.”
