What is a Fiber-to-the-Premises Network?
Point Broadband’s Fiber-to-the-Premises Network sends data much faster than basic cable or any other traditional means. Delivered on a dedicated line, our best-in-class fiber optic cable facilitates more consistent speed than cable – even during peak usage times. Supporting speeds upward of 1 Gbps (1,000 Mbps), fiber-to-the-premises Internet uses cutting edge technology so that information is sent via small, flexible strands of glass that transmit light. This allows data to be sent faster over greater distances. Fiber-to-the-premises Internet connectivity offers significant reliability advantages over other traditional options.

COVERAGE AREAS
What is a Fiber-fed Fixed Wireless Network?
Point Broadband’s Fiber-fed Fixed Wireless network often serves areas that, until now, have had limited or no Internet service. Our fiber-fed fixed wireless broadband offers high-speed internet access via a strong, consistent wireless signal from vertical assets in each community. Supporting speeds upward of 20 Mbps, our fiber-fed fixed wireless network is much more robust than antiquated DSL (phone line) Internet, and when compared to satellite Internet, provides much better latency due to significantly less signal distance traveled.
