Why are my Cable Rates Increasing?
Our goal is to provide the best value to our customers on cable programming. Unfortunately, the rates we have to pay programmers, like Fox News, ESPN, USA, etc., as well as the local broadcast channels like ABC, NBC and Fox increase every year. The adjustment being made in March/April is simply an offset to the continuing increase in programming. There are ways to save money on your cable bill through streaming content over our fast fiber network. We are happy to discuss options with you.
Why are you increasing my bill during the COVID-19 pandemic?
We are sensitive to the economic impact that the pandemic is having on individuals and businesses. This increase was announced and scheduled before the pandemic began and is based on increases we are already paying to the programmers and local broadcast channels. We are happy to work with you to discuss ways to lower your cable bill. Additionally, we have pledged not to charge late fees or disconnect a customer for payment reasons during the pandemic.
Will my cable TV bill go up every year?
As long as programming costs continue to escalate, we will have to pass through a portion of the costs to our customers.
How can I save money on my cable bill?
