HAGERSTOWN, MD (September 2020) – Hagerstown Fiber, a locally owned and operated provider of fiber-to-the-home Internet services, today announced that it is being rebranded Point Broadband after the sale of its company to the West Point, Ga.-based broadband company earlier this year.
In 2017, Hagerstown Fiber began building a brand-new fiber-optic network to provide gigabit Internet services in Hagerstown. Hagerstown Fiber not only brought better Internet service to the community but provided better customer service and support. Todd Holt, Point Broadband CEO, said the company was a natural fit with Point’s core values, extreme focus on taking care of customers, and being engaged in the communities it serves.

Holt said current Hagerstown customers will continue to enjoy the same exceptional local service, support and reliability they’ve enjoyed with Hagerstown Fiber, only under the new Point Broadband brand. All Hagerstown Fiber employees will transfer to Point Broadband and the local company will be adding more jobs soon.
