As previously communicated, Point Broadband in the process of upgrading tower sites in its Southwest Georgia market, including Decatur and Miller Counties.
Due to the complexity of this upgrade, we have adjusted our schedule and will be working on upgrading equipment in all Southwest Georgia markets during the week of Dec. 10th. The upgrade should be completed by Dec. 14th, weather permitting.
During this week, most customers will likely be impacted at some point for approximately 45 minutes to an hour. There may, however, be a small percentage of customers who will be impacted longer.
If you notice any outages beyond an hour during this week, please call us immediately at 844-407-6468 and one of our Customer Experience Reps will be glad to assist you. We will monitor the status of your signal as well throughout this process. If we notice a degradation in service, we will reach out to you via your contact number we have on file, as well as text and email, to schedule an on-site visit to recalibrate your receiver to make sure that your receiver is optimized to receive signals from this newly upgraded location. We will have additional technicians in the market to assist you quickly.
