As previously communicated, Point Broadband is in the process of upgrading tower sites in our Southwest Georgia market, including Decatur, Seminole and Miller Counties. During our efforts to provide enhanced service through this upgrade, we experienced some unforeseen technical difficulties, and for this we are truly sorry.
We are aware of the service interruptions and frustrations some of our customers have experienced during this transition, related not only to the upgrade itself, but also to Mother Nature. But we’re not here to make excuses — our customers are our top priority and we’re here to do whatever it takes to make this right and earn your trust again.
Even though this upgrade is taking longer than anticipated, our Engineering and Network Operations Teams are working diligently over the holidays to continue the process. We are now looking at a completion date during the week of Jan. 7.
In the meantime, we want to provide you with a few essential tools in case you do experience difficulty with your service. Please click the links below:
Basic Troubleshooting Tips
Resetting Your Router
- After resetting your router, and if there are still no lights on your router, please call Technical Support at 844-407-6468 and press option 2 twice.
- If you have questions or concerns about your bill or a credit for lost service days, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and include your name, address and the number of days your service was down.
During this time, the best way to stay up-to-date about any possible changes to this timeline is to visit this page on our website.
Again, we are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience, and are working as quickly as possible to complete this upgrade and improve service.
